Press the red switch on the battery case to activate the battery. The
green LED next to the red switch is lit, indicated with an arrow in
. Make sure the LED stays lit.

If the LED is not lit, see the instructions in section

Check from the sounding system software that the telemetry link is
working well. For detailed instructions on using the sounding
software, refer to the sounding system documentation.
Checking the Connection
If the LED is not lit when you press the switch, the battery connector
may not be properly connected to the connector holder in the battery
case. To check this, do the following:
1.
Remove the radiosonde and the battery case from each other, for
example using a small coin. See section
for details.

Connect the battery again carefully following the instructions in
section
