My telephone appears to
be dead.

• Make sure the power adapter is securely

plugged into an outlet not controlled by a wall
switch.
• Make sure the telephone line cords are plugged
firmly into the telephone base and the jack.
• Unplug the telephone’s electrical power. Wait for
approximately 15 seconds, then plug it back in.
Allow up to one minute for the telephone to
synchronize.
• This system is not compatible with any other AT&T
4-line small business telephones, except for the
1080, 1070 and 1040 telephones.

System features,
(intercom, transfer, hold
release, etc.) do not work
with my old AT&T 4-line
telephones (984, 974,
945, etc.).

• This system is not compatible with any other
AT&T 4-line small business telephones, except
for the 1080, 1070 and 1040 telephones.

Intercom, hold, call pri-
vacy or other advanced
features do not work
properly.

• If you have fiber optic service, (digital service to

the building, analog service within the building,) VoIP
(Voice over the Internet) service, or cable tele-
phone service, the router that the system uses
may interfere with system communication.

• If Line 1 is a DSL line, have a professional install a

splitter on the telephone line. See the installation
guide and contact your DSL service provider for
more information.

• If the wiring for your system is greater than 600

feet, some of the advanced features may not
work properly. You may have to remove some
of the phones from remote areas.”
