Setting the Image Size
Digital Still Camera Mode : Functions
✤ Image Size function works in
(Program),
(Movie), M, S, A
and SCENE modes.
✤ Set the image size for still images before you begin. The number
of stored images varies depending on the Memory Card capacity,
image size and quality.
1. Set the Power switch to
(CAMERA) mode.
2. Set the Mode Dial to
(Program),
(Movie),
M, S, A or SCENE.
3. Press the MENU button.
4. Move the Joystick to the left or right to select
(SIZE).

The available options are listed.

1600x1200 - 1024x768 - 640x480
5. Select an option by moving the Joystick up or
down, then press the Joystick(OK) or MENU
button.

The selected option is applied.
[ Notes ]
■
The actual number of pictures you can record varies
depending on the image quality and size settings.
■
For photo development, the higher the resolution,
the finer the image quality.
■
640x480 format is adequate for e-mail transfers.

✤ La función Image Size (Tamaño de imagen) está operativa en las
modalidades
(Programa),
(Cine), M, S, A y SCENE
(ESCENA).
✤ Antes de comenzar, ajuste el tamaño de imagen de las fotografías.
El número de imágenes almacenadas varía dependiendo de la
capacidad de la tarjeta de memoria, el tamaño y la calidad de la
imagen.
1. Coloque el interruptor Power en la modalidad
(CÁMARA).
2. Coloque el Dial de modalidad en
(Programa),
(Cine), M, S, A o SCENE (ESCENA).
3. Pulse el botón MENU.
4. Mueva el Joystick a la derecha o a la izquierda
hasta seleccionar
(SIZE (TAMAÑO)).

Aparece una lista con las opciones disponibles.

1600x1200 - 1024x768 - 640x480
5. Seleccione la opción moviendo el Joystick hacia
arriba o hacia abajo y pulse el Joystick(OK) o el
botón MENU.

Se aplica la opción seleccionada.

El número real de imágenes que puede grabar
varía dependiendo de los ajustes de calidad y
tamaño de la imagen.
■
Para el revelado de las fotos, cuanto más alta sea
la resolución, mejor será la calidad de la imagen.
■
El formato 640x480 es adecuado para
transferencias de correo electrónico.
