Selecting Press + command dials displays the following options:

lock

Press the Fn button and rotate the main command
dial to lock shutter speed in modes f and h; press the
Fn

button and rotate the sub-command dial to lock

aperture in modes g and h. See page 133 for more

If the Fn button is pressed when the command dials
are rotated, changes to shutter speed (exposure
modes f and h) and aperture (exposure modes g and
h) are made in increments of 1 EV, regardless of the
option selected for Custom Setting b2 (EV steps for
exposure cntrl

Choose non-
CPU lens
number

Press the Fn button and rotate a command dial to
choose a lens number specified using the Non-CPU
lens data
option (

0 228).

Active
D-Lighting

Press the Fn button and rotate the command dials to
adjust Active D-Lighting (

0 184).

Shooting
menu bank

If this option is selected, the shooting menu bank can
be selected by pressing the Fn button and rotating a
command dial.

None

No operation is performed when the command dials
are rotated while the Fn button is pressed.
