Digital zoom
cannot be used.

A function that restricts digital zoom is enabled.
• Digital zoom is set to Off in the setup menu.

Digital zoom cannot be used in the following scene

modes.

shutter is
released.

Off is selected for Sound settings > Shutter sound in
the setup menu. No sound is produced with some
shooting modes and settings, even when On is
selected.

illuminator does
not light.

Off is selected for the AF assist option in the setup
menu. AF-assist illuminator may not light depending on
the position of the focus area or the current scene
mode, even when Auto is selected.
