Connect the Ethernet RJ-45 cable to LAN

port as shown on the above illustration.

Wait a moment until DHCP will configure

network connection.

Helpful hints:

If there is no DHCP server in your network

you can manually configure Ariva IP

address - “Fix IP (manual)” menu item.

Optional: Connecting WiFi network

WiFi 802.11g/n network

IMPORTANT!

You need dedicated WiFi USB dongle

for wireless connection. This dongle

is optional accessory and may be sold

separatly.

Connect dedicated WiFi USB dongle

to USB port as shown on the above

illustration.

Enter “Setup” > “Network” > “Wireless

Setup” > “Infrastructure (AP)“menu

Select one of detected networks and

enter valid key.

Helpful hints:

If you don’t have WiFi router select

“Peer to Peer (Ad-Hoc)” instead of

“Infrastructure (AP)“, then configure

settings (SSID, WEP key, Ariva IP address)

WiFi networks are usually slower than

cable (Ethernet) networks. It may affect

playback performance.
