CONNECT TO A TELEVISION (BASIC
CONFIGURATION)
Step 1: Connect the antenna
1. Turn off your TV.
2. Unplug the antenna cable from the back of your
TV and plug it into the ANTENNA IN connector on
the back of the recorder.
3. Connect a coaxial aerial cable from the ANTENNA
OUT connector on the back of the recorder to the
ANTENNA IN plug on the back of your TV.
4. You will need to perform a scan to tune in the
available TV channels on the recorder.

3. Aerial (or cable TV)
4. Antenna out, can be used to output TV signal to
another TV set's RF signal input connector.
The TV signal output connector (antenna out) is
only a loop-through of the input signal.
Step 2: Connect to TV using SCART
1. Connect a SCART cable
from the SCART OUT
plug on the back of the
RECORDER to the SCART IN
plug on the back of your TV.
2. Select SCART IN source
on the TV.
CONNECT A TV/SATELLITE DECODER
1. Connect a SCART cable from the SCART
OUT plug on the back of the decoder (A) to the
SCART IN plug on the back of the Ferguson
Recorder (B).
2. You will need to perform a scan to tune in the
available TV channels on the recorder. Please see
Autoscan for TV channels in the System Setup
section later in this guide for more information.
