. Function and specification regarding professional

usage

-1 Lightweight magnesium alloy housing

In professional studios, it is common for headphones to be put

to use for long periods of time. That is why comfort is extremely

important from the standpoint of reducing fatigue. And the

lightweight design plays a large role in providing that sort of

comfort.

The housing component forms the largest part of the headphones.

Here we used magnesium alloy, which is known for having a high

specific strength (strength to weight ratio) among usable metals at

industry level. This allowed us to make the housing thinner and

achieve a lightweight headphone body that is approximately

10 %*

lighter than before. Moreover, the magnesium housing

prevents unnecessary vibration for smooth bass response and

clear mid-high range sound.

-2 OFC voice coil

For the voice coil, high grade OFC Litz cord is wrapped around the craft bobbins. This lightens the voice

coil weight for high sound quality while simultaneously improving durability and providing a power

handling capacity of 4,000 mW. This prevents problems such as damage caused by typically unexpected

large scale input events that occur frequently in professional studios.

-3 Detachable cord

The cord is detachable, and we have included both a 3 m and 1.2 m cord. You can select the cord for the

situation, such as the 3 m cord for studio work where length is essential, or the 1.2 m cord for portable

operation, for example, combined with a camera-recorder for location work.
