Calibrating the System----cont.

Installing ICC Display Profiles

1

After completing a calibration, write down the Artisan™ Color Reference System ICC Display Profile name, found on
the main screen of the application (example: "CRS Print RGB D65 10763285").

2

Close the Artisan™ program, as well as all other applications.

3

Over an empty portion of your computer's desktop, right-click with your mouse, and select "Properties".

4

On the Settings tab, click "Advanced".

5

On the Color Management tab, click "Add" to view the list of ICC Display Profiles.

6

On this list, find the ICC Display Profile that you noted in step 1 (above). Select it by left-clicking on it with your
mouse.

7

Click "Add" to associate the new Artisan™ Color Reference System ICC Display Profile with your display.

8

Highlight the newly associated profile in the dialog box list, and click "Set as Default".

9

Click "OK" to close the Advanced dialog box; then, click "OK" to close the Display Properties dialog box.

Each time a calibration is performed, an ICC Display Profile is created by the Artisan™ Color Reference System. This profile
communicates the color characteristics of your display to applications such as Adobe Photoshop. Setting the correct ICC
Display Profile within Windows’ Image Color Management system allows applications to display consistent color throughout
the publishing process. Use the following procedure to correctly set the Artisan™ Color Reference System ICC Display Profile
on your system.

You must have administrative privileges in order to add, change, or verify an ICC Display Profile.

If you recalibrate your system, or if you have changed your system's configuration (resolution, colorspace, color depth,
etc.), you must perform the above steps to confirm that the new ICC Display Profile is properly associated with your
display.
