The battery icon in the display (page 14) changes as
shown below.

The CHARGE lamp on the USB cradle or
the recording USB cradle lights up and
charging starts. It takes approximately 90
minutes*. When charging is complete, the
CHARGE lamp goes out.
We recommend you to charge the battery for
30 minutes or more continuously. Your
Network Walkman requires 15 minutes to
check the battery condition to protect it
before a quick recharge starts.
* The figure represents the charging time for an
empty battery charged in an ambient temperature
of between 5˚C to 35˚C (67˚F to 95˚F). The
charging time will be shortened depending on the
battery power remaining. If the battery is charged
in a low-temperature environment, the charging
time will be longer.
Notes
• Charge the battery in an ambient temperature of
between 5˚C to 35˚C (67˚F to 95˚F).
• It cannot playback during charge.
