To disconnect a floppy disk drive when the computer is on
1. Before disconnecting this drive, close any active applications to help prevent data loss.
2. Double-click the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the taskbar. The Safely Remove Hardware window
appears.
3. In the Hardware devices box, select Y-E Data USB Floppy, and click Stop. The Stop a Hardware device
window appears.
4. Make sure Y-E Data USB Floppy is selected, and click OK. A message appears stating it is safe to remove the
hardware.
5. Unplug the floppy disk drive from the computer, port replicator, or docking station.
