Removing an ExpressCard Media
Follow the steps below to remove the ExpressCard/34 media while your computer is on. If it is not removed properly, your
system may not work properly.
To remove an ExpressCard media

To remove an ExpressCard/34 media when the computer is off, skip steps 1 to 6.

Double-click the Safely Remove Hardware icon on the taskbar.
The Safely Remove Hardware window appears.

Select the hardware you want to unplug.

Click Stop.
The Stop a Hardware Device window appears.

Confirm that the device can be safely removed from the system.

Click OK.
A window appears, explaining that it is safe to remove the device.

Click Close.

Push in the ExpressCard/34 media toward the computer to pop it out.

Gently take hold of the ExpressCard/34 media and pull it out of the slot.
