Connecting an External Microphone (Microphone jack
equipped models)
You can connect an external microphone to your VAIO computer and enjoy voice
chat, etc.
1. Plug the microphone cable into the microphone jack ( Parts and Controls on
the Sides ).
Note
If you connect or disconnect the microphone to/from your VAIO computer while
running a voice recording app, voice recording may fail or the app may exit.
Connect the microphone and select it as the sound recording device for
Windows before starting the app.
Hint
Use a plug-in-power microphone.
Refer to the manual that came with your microphone.
If microphone feedback occurs, move the microphone away from your speakers.
