Basic Operations
On Group control mode
You can use Group control mode by pressing
the /MENU button.
You can skip to the beginning of the album
or group within the Play Range in Group
control mode.

* 1 Skips to the beginning of the next (or the current)
album’s first track when the current Play Range
is the result of an album name or artist name
search. Skips to the beginning of the next (or the
current) group’s first track when the current Play
Range is the track list result of a “searching by
group” search.
* 2 Pressing and holding u U of the 5 Direction JOG
while in stop mode, makes continuous skips to
the beginning of the next album/group (the
current album/group) of the Play Range, and if
held longer, continues to skip through the next
(or previous) album/group(s).

* 1 Pressing and holding u U of the 5 Direction JOG
while in stop mode, makes continuous skips to

and if held longer, continues to skip through the
next (or previous) track(s).
* 2 The fast-forward and fast-rewind speed becomes
gradually faster. You can change the maximum
speed of the fast-forward/fast-rewind in the
“Cue/Rev” menu (page 38).
