Shooting close-ups

Macro

For close-ups of subjects like flowers or
insects, shoot using the macro feature. You
can shoot subjects approaching up to 10 cm
(4 inches) when the zoom is set to its W-
end. However, the available focus distance
depends on the zoom position. We
recommend that you set the zoom to its W-
end during shooting.

When the zoom is set all the way to
the W side:

Approx. 10 cm (4 inches) from the end of
the lens

When the zoom is set all the way to
the T side:

DSC-P93: Approx. 60 cm (23
