• When there are already the maximum number of files in the

selected folder or the total number of files stored on the
memory card recorder has exceeded the maximum, you
cannot record a new file. Erase unnecessary files (page 33),
and then perform “Re-Sort by Date,” or insert a new memory
card.

File Damaged

• You cannot play back or edit files, because the data of the

selected file is damaged.

Format Error

• Format the memory card using the formatting function in the

menu (page 41). Do not use your computer to format the
memory card.

Process Error

• Remove and then re-insert the batteries.
• Save a backup copy of your data and format the memory card

using the menu (page 41).

No File

• No file is recorded on the memory card.

Low Battery-Cannot
Execute

• You cannot use the “Format” function, the “Re-Sort by Date”

function or using the ERASE button because the batteries are
exhausted. Replace the old LR03 (size AAA) alkaline
batteries with new ones (page 11).

Unknown Data

• This data is not in a file format that is supported by the

memory card recorder. The memory card recorder supports
MP3(.mp3) files only. For details, see “Memory card recorder
section”
on page 45.

• You cannot play back copyright protected files.

Invalid Operation

• When a memory card has a bad block on it, the card cannot be

written to. Prepare a new memory card to replace the current
one.
