To use, or delete a WishList, or change some of its settings, highlight it and press
SELECT or RIGHT arrow. The next screen will include the following options:

& If you select “Auto-record WishList programs,”
every program the WishList finds will be automatically recorded. With the
exception of sports programs, auto-recording WishLists do not record Pay Per
View programs. The Receiver records sports programs if you have purchased them.
(This allows you to buy DIRECTV sports packages and set up a WishList to record
your favorite team’s games.) If a show or episode of a show has already been
recorded, it will not be recorded again for at least 28 days. If you have previously
set a program to auto-record, this option changes to “Don’t auto-record programs,”
and turns auto-recording off.
By default, WishList programs are not deleted for at least two days. However, if
too many recordings are scheduled, the Receiver may have to delete the oldest
recordings early to make room for new ones. If you find that your recordings are
getting deleted before you have a chance to watch them, you may have to stop
auto-recording a WishList or delete a Season Pass or manual Season Pass.
