!lets you browse through programs on a particular channel. After
selecting
? 
!, you can choose to select a channel from the list of “All
Channels” or from the list of “Favorite Channels.” The “All Channels” list includes all
the channels DIRECTV provides. The “Favorite Channels” list includes any channels
you have selected for it. (For information on customizing the lists of channels, see
page 68.) After you have selected a list, the next screen lets you select a channel and
day.
To find a program:
1. Use the UP and DOWN arrows to select the day of programming that you’d like to
browse. Press RIGHT arrow to move the highlight to the channel column.
2. Use the UP and DOWN arrows to select a channel. You can also use the number
keypad on the remote to type in a channel, then press ENTER/JUMP.
3. Press SELECT to bring up the list of programs without leaving the channel
selector, or press RIGHT arrow to bring up the list of programs and move to the list
at the same time.
4. When you find a program you want to record, highlight it and press SELECT to
bring up the $
&&
