Downloading Audio CD Data (Album Names, Artist Names, Track Names, etc.) from Gracenote CDDB
Gracenote CDDB is an online music recognition service to identify CDs and digital music files.
You must have Internet access in order to use Gracenote CDDB. You can access Gracenote CDDB to dow nload and store information for CDs, such as album
names, artist names, track names, credit, and other information.
Gracenote provides this service free to end-users.
Note s
It is recommended that you use Microsoft Internet Explorer (Ver. 4.0 or higher) or Netscape Navigator (Ver. 4.0 or higher) as your Internet brow ser.
Internet access is necessary for view ing w eb sites. For details on how to access the Internet, consult the manufacturer of your computer.
Registering as a user with Gracenote
1.
Click the [M e nu] button to s e le ct "Re gis te r w ith Grace note ".
The "Gracenote CDDB Registration" dialog box appears.

Click the [Ne xt] button.
The "Terms of Use Gracenote CDDB Service" dialog box appears.
3.
Che ck [I have re ad and agre e to the s e Te rm s of Us e ].
4.
Click the [Finis h] button.
The "Gracenote CDDB Registration Completed" dialog box appears.
5.
Click the [Done ] button.
User registration is complete.
Note
When the user registration operation is canceled partw ay, you may be unable to redo the user registration. In this case restart M-crew Server.
Downloading music information from Gracenote CDDB
You can register information dow nloaded from Gracenote CDDB in the Track display area in the CD w indow .
1.
Click the [M e nu] button to s e le ct "Ge t Grace note inform ation".
The information that w as dow nloaded from Gracenote CDDB appears in the Track display area in the CD w indow .
When the "Get Gracenote information" dialog box appears, click the corresponding album name, and then click the [Accept Match] button. When the "Access
the information automatically" checkbox is checked in the "GracenoteCDDB" dialog box, the system gets the information automatically after the CD is loaded.
