You can check the front surround sound effect
by using the supplied Setup Disc.

The system turns on.
Unless the system is set to “DVD,” press
FUNCTION +/– to select “DVD.”

Load the Setup Disc.
Push the disc into the disc slot until the disc
is pulled in automatically.
The Setup Disc is drawn into the system
automatically.
The Setup Disc menu appears.

Sit in the listening position, then select
one of the three options on the screen
using
C/c
, and press

The selected option starts.

Listening carefully to how the option
sounds to determine the optimal
surround sound effect.
If a satisfactory surround sound effect
cannot be achieved, adjust the speaker
positions.

Press
x
to stop the disc.

Z
on the system to eject the
disc.
