B) Installation of Right-Side Throttle Adapter Plate (See Photo C)

For your convenience, the right-side cable attachment (the barrel bolt / throttle adapter plate assembly) has been pre-assembled on the adapter plate
and does not need to be removed for installation.

1) Using a screwdriver or needlenose pliers, remove the OEM throttle pivot pin snap-ring.
2) Remove the pivot pin and OEM washer. Save the washer, but place the pivot pin in your toolbox (you won’t need it anymore).

A) Installation of Left-Side Throttle Lever Perch (See Photos A & B)

1) On late model Yamaha snowmobiles with OEM grips, the throttle lever perch will fit over the left side handlebar with no modifications to the grip.
Remove the left side brake reservoir/switch housing clamp screws (with Philips screwdriver), then slide the brake reservoir assembly approximately 1” to
the right to make room for the left-side throttle perch (Part O).
2) Using a pocket knife, trim away a small portion of the switch housing to allow clearance (SEE PHOTO A). Reinstall switch housing, tighten clamps
with Philips screwdriver.
3) Using the small allen wrench from your kit, remove the top from the perch by unscrewing the two small bolts.
4) Position perch over handlebars as close as possible to the left side of the switch housing on the left side of handlebars, closing perch together with
the Goldfinger lever in the position of 6:00.
5) Screw the top back onto the perch around the handle bars. If the fit is sloppy we recommend that you use the clear nylon handlebar spacer
provided in your kit.
6) Once the lever perch fits snugly , tighten the bolts to prevent the perch from rotating on the handlebar. The lever should be in a straight
down position. CAUTION: In no case should your GOLDFINGER throttle lever be parallel to your brake lever! (SEE PHOTO B).
