If using a cartridge mechanical seal, the centering
clips must be installed and set screws loosened prior
to setting impeller clearance.

CAUTION

Failure to do so could result in sparks, heat
generation, and mechanical seal damage.

Once proper impeller setting is achieved, tighten the
set screws in the seal locking ring and remove the
centering clips prior to starting the pump.

WARNING

Lock out driver power to prevent accidental
rotation and physical injury.

The coupling used in an ATEX classified
environment must be properly certified.

Install and lubricate coupling per manufacturer’s
instructions.
