Lanyard Safety
• DO NOT USE the lanyard if it has been used to halt a fall
• DO NOT USE the lanyard if it has been exposed to an aggressive and/or
corrosive environment
• DO NOT USE the lanyard if it is not in perfect condition
• DO NOT tie a knot in the lanyard
• DO NOT USE the lanyard on exposed cutting edges
• DO NOT dry the lanyard in front of direct heat
• DO NOT attempt to repair the lanyard
Before Use
Unpacking the Lanyard
• Carefully unpack the lanyard. Ensure all packaging materials are removed and
fully familiarise yourself with all features of the product
• If any parts are damaged or missing, do not use this product
CHECK BEFORE EACH USE
• Ensure the stitching is in good condition
• Ensure the energy absorber is in perfect condition
• Ensure the lanyard is suitable for use in conjunction with the other components in
the fall arrest system, and that all parts of the system are free from defect
• Ensure the anchor point is secure with a minimum resistance of 15kN and
positioned above the user and there is at least 6.75m of free space for a fall
Operating Instructions
WARNING: It is essential that this lanyard is only used as described; any other usage
could be dangerous and potentially life threatening
• This lanyard is designed to dissipate kinetic energy which is produced during
a fall
• This product should only be used by a fully trained person
1. Connect the lanyard to a suitable anchoring point by the anchor loops (1)
2. Then connect the opposing end of the lanyard to a suitable harness
Maintenance
• After use, clean with a soft brush or a damp cloth
• DO NOT attempt to repair the lanyard
• Store in a dry place which is not exposed to sunlight or extreme temperatures

Avant Utilisation
Déballage
• Déballez avec précaution votre longe. Enlevez tous les matériaux d’emballage et
familiarisez-vous avec toutes les fonctions et caractéristiques du produit.
• Si une pièce est endommagée ou manquante, NE PAS L’UTILISER
VÉRIFIEZ QUE LA COUTURE EST EN BON ÉTAT.
• Vérifiez que la longe peut être utilisée avec les autres composants du système
antichute, et que tous les autres composants soient également en bonne
condition d’usage.
• Ce produit ne doit être utilisé que par une personne qualifiée.
Instructions d’utilisation
Attention : Cette longe ne doit être utilisée que comme indiqué, toute autre
utilisation peut être dangereuse et mortelle.
• Cette longe est conçue pour dissiper l’énergie cinétique produite pendant une
chute.
• Vérifiez que le point d’ancrage soit au-dessus de l’utilisateur et qu’il y ait une
hauteur libre de 6,75m pour une chute.
1. Fixer la longe sur un point d’ancrage approprié avec les boucles d’ancrages.
2. Puis fixer l’autre extrémité sur un harnais adéquat.
Entretien
• Après utilisation, nettoyez avec une brosse souple ou un chiffon humide.
• Ne pas essayer de réparer la longe.
• Rangez la longe dans un endroit sec et non exposée aux rayons du soleil ou à de
températures extrêmes.
