Update the device information
After completing installation of the printer driver, it is recommended to update the device infor-
mation on the driver.
• Without updating the device information, the corresponded functions of the device
cannot be used.
• This section describes in the case of Windows 7. For the other operation systems,
refer to the guide of the operation system respectively.
1.
Select [Start] - [Devices and Printers].
2.
Right-click the printer icon you want to set, select [Printer
properties].
3.
Select [Configure] tab.

The confirmation screen is displayed when [Acquire Device
Information] is clicked, and click [Yes] to update the Device
Information.
5.
Set the other items as required.
6.
Click [OK] to close the Properties window.
