Starting Color Centro

To start Color Centro, connect to the image controller first.

• To login, the IP address and port number of the image controller are necessary

(default of the port number: 30081). You can confirm the IP address and port num-
ber with [01 TCP/IP Setting] and [14 JSP Setting], respectively, by accessing them
from the control panel.

• [01 TCP/IP Setting] and [14 JSP Setting] can be accessed as follows:

[03 Administrator Setting] - [Controller] - [01 Controller NIC Setting Menu]

• JSP Setting is the settings regarding the connection with a Java application

server.

• Confirm that the image controller is ready to communicate.
• Color Centro is a Java application. When the Java application is blocked by the fire-

wall, [Windows Security Alert] screen is displayed. In this case, select the option
corresponding to your network environment, and click [Allow access] to allow the
communication by Java application on your network.

Select [Start] - [All Programs] - [KONICA MINOLTA] - [Color
Centro] - [KONICA MINOLTA Color Centro].

Enter the IP address and port number of the image control-
ler in [Destination] and then click [OK].

Color Centro starts, and then you can use the launcher screen

Separate the IP address and the port number with a colon. If the IP
address is 192.168.0.1 and the port number is 30081, for example,
enter "192.168.0.1:30081".

In [Destination], you can also select an IP address and a port num-
ber that were entered before.
The entered value is kept even after you exit Color Centro.

When you have connected to an image controller already, the IP
address and the port number of the image controller are displayed
on [Current Destination].
