5. On the printout, write the current CMYK values shown on your printout: C:
1%, M: 98%, Y: 65%, K: 12% .
6. Click Close .
Step 3: Editing a Spot Color
Now you will edit the spot color.
1. On the toolbar, click Spot Color Editor .
2. In the Spot dictionary list, select Pantone C .
3. In the list of spot colors, select 193 C .
4. In the C box, under Corrected , type 0 and press ENTER on the keyboard.
5. In the Y box, type 80 and press ENTER on the keyboard.
6. In the K box, type 0 and press ENTER on the keyboard.
Note: The yellow value is relatively low. To make this color redder, you’ll need to increase the
yellow values.
