What do I do when storing the printer for an extended period?

Turn off the printer.

Unplug the printer’s power cords and interface cables.

Remove the toner cartridge from the printer and return it to its original
packaging. If the original packaging is not available, protect the toner
cartridge from light and from spilling toner.
