If you’re using one IP Address for the Fiery and using a crossover cable as shown in the picture
below, you can assign a Auto Input IP Address designation for the engine [DHCP].
1. Select press the Utility/ Counter
2. Administrator Setting [12345678]
3. Select Network Settings
4. Select TCP/IP Settings
5. Select IP Settings
6. Select Auto Input.
7. Save your selection and reboot the copier.
You will get an assigned IP Address from the Fiery IC-409 of:
172.17.249.X or 10.249.249.X
Make sure to always turn on the Fiery IC-409 first then the copier.
Wait approximately 3-4 minutes before you may see the classic I for the Fiery on the screen.
Once the [I] appears the message “Power on the controller” message will disappear.
