Appendix A—Setting Parameters
Paper Size
¾
Select the desired paper size. If you select
Custom
, type the
required width in the
W
box and the required height in the
H
box.
Page Orientation
¾
Select the desired page orientation—
Portrait
or
Landscape
. Use
this option if you receive undesirable page orientation results in
your print out.
Media type
¾
Select the desired media type. The default setting is
Use Printer
defaults
. When this option is selected, your job is printed on the
media type that is defined on the printer.
Gloss Mode
¾
Select this check box to give a glossy look to your printed
output.
Weight
¾
Select the desired media weight. The default setting is
Use
Printer defaults
. When this option is selected, your job is printed
on the paper weight that is defined on the printer.
Punched Paper
¾
Select this check box if you want to print the job on pre-
punched paper. The pre-punched paper must be loaded into
the specified tray. If not, the job is held.
Colored Paper
¾
Select this check box if you want to print the job on pre-colored
paper. The pre-colored paper must be loaded into the specified
tray. If not, the job is held.
Note: Units of measurement (mm or inches) reflect system configuration.
