Double-click the

PPD

folder.

Double-click the

English

folder.

Double-click the

MacOSX

folder and locate either the

Europe-A4

or

US-Letter

folders. (The

IC-304V2.PPD

file is inside these

folders.)

It is recommended that you copy the folder by dragging it to
the specified folder on your local disk. To do this, open another
Finder window.

From the

Go

menu, select

Computer

.

10.

Click the

MacOSX

disk icon, and locate the following folder:

Library\Printers\PPDs\Contents\Resources\en.lproj

.

11.

Drag either the

Europe-A4

or

US-Letter

folder to the

en.lproj

folder.

Setting the Network Printer for Mac OS X (10.4)

1.

Make sure the

IC-304v2.PPD

file has been copied to the

computer.

2.

From the

Go

menu, select

Applications

.

3.

Open the

Utilities

folder and then double-click

Printer Setup

Utility

.

The Printer List dialog box appears.

4.

Click

Add Printer

.

The Printer Browser dialog box appears.

5.

Click

Default Browser

.

6.

Select either

Default Browser

or

IP Printer

.

7.

Browse to the print controller (if you are defining an IP printer,
enter the print controller IP address or host name, and the
exact name of the printer to which you want to print—for
example, IC-304_ProcessPrint).

8.

In the

Printer Using

list, select

Other

.

9.

Browse to the folder in which you copied the PPD file:

MACOSX\Library\PPDs\Contents\Resources\en.lproj\Europe-A4

or

US-Letter

.
