User Authentication
User authentication encloses your user name and password with your job. This
identification will be used to determine your printing rights.
User Authentication can use the MacOS Keychain to store your password for the
username by which you authenticate towards the bizhub PRO 1050.
MacOS Keychain protects your passwords by encryption and is usually
protected by a password itself. In order to allow an application to use your
password, you must enter your Keychain password and grant the application the
requested access.
User Authentication without Keychain
To use User Authentication without the Keychain, perform the following steps:
Select File » Print, then select the Workflow panel.
Check User name, then click into the text field below User Name.
Enter your username. While your input is still too short, a graphical indication
for missing characters is shown.
Hit TAB to move to the password field, then enter the password.
