5 Book scanner screen
Images can be loaded and function settings made from the personal computer using the “Book Scanner” screen.
This section describes the settings available in the “Book Scanner” screen.

1. Type:
Sets the type of the original to be read by the scanner.
Books................................................Select “Book”.
Sheets ...............................................Select “Sheet”.
Other three-dimensional objects.......Select “3D”.
2. Page: When the type of original is set to “Book” or “Sheet”, then the “Spread”,
“Single”, or “Split” option can be selected.
Spread........................ Scans two spread pages of the original.
Single......................... Scans either the right page or left page of the
original.
Split ........................... Separately scans two pages of the original. When
using the “Right Scan” button, the original is
scanned from the right page to the left page.
When using the “Left Scan” button, the original is scanned from the left
page to the right page.
3. Size: Select the original size to be scanned from the pull-down list.
