3 Explore Window Settings
This section provides detailed descriptions of the Explore Window that
appears when Box Operator is started up. For details on starting up Box
Operator, refer to “Connecting to the Multifunctional Product” on page 4-1.

If Windows Vista is being used, the menu bar may not appear. Display the
menu bar before using the software.

1 Menu bar Use the following menus in Windows Explorer.
• File: Contains commands for performing box and document opera-
tions and for exiting Box Operator.
• Edit: Contains commands for editing boxes and documents.
• View: Contains commands for changing the display format.
• Box Operator: Contains commands for registering multifunctional
products and specifying Box Operator settings.
2 Toolbar Click a button to use the available function. For details, refer to “Tool-
bar” on page 3-2.
3 Tree pane The registered multifunctional products and their boxes appear in a hi-
erarchical structure.
