3 Click the [Search] button.
When an IP address or host name is specified, check the
communication with the specified device and whether the device is
appropriate.
Settings Setting Procedure
IP Address Type in the IP address.
If the printer or MFP that you wish to install is in another
subnet, but cannot be detected because the network does
not permit SNMP broadcasting, type in the IP address.
IP Host Name Type in the IP host name.
If the printer or MFP that you wish to install is in another
subnet, but cannot be detected because the network does
not permit SNMP broadcasting, type in the host name.
Local Port From the list of ports, select an existing port.
For a parallel connection, select “LPT1”.
