? What if there is a mismatch in the Management Data Encryption
Keys?
% If there is a mismatch in the Management Data Encryption Keys, a
message appears that tells that there is a mismatch in the Manage-
ment Data Encryption Keys. Enter the correct Management Data
Encryption Key once again.

Enter the new 20-digit Management Data Encryption Key from the key-
board and keypad.
– Press the [C] key to clear all characters.
– Touch [Delete] to delete the last character entered.
– Touch [Shift] to show the upper case/symbol screen.
– Touch [Cancel] to go back to the HDD Setting screen.

? What happens if the Management Data Encryption Key entered
does not meet the requirements of the Password Rules?
% If the Management Data Encryption Key entered does not comply
with the Password Rules, a message appears that tells that the
Management Data Encryption Key entered cannot be used. Enter
the correct Management Data Encryption Key. For details of Pass-
word Rules, see “Password Rules” on page 1-11.
