1 General
1.1 Cost-base upper limit settings
Configuring the cost-base upper limit settings allows you to restrict copying
or printing on the machine when the amount spent exceeds the upper limit
specified for each user.
To use the cost-base upper limit settings function, install and configure
Account Manager and Authentication Manager, then ask your service
representative to configure the cost-base upper limit settings.

The cost-base upper limit settings cannot be used together with the
counter-base upper limit settings.

The cost-base upper limit settings can be used for Total Counter, but not
for Color Counter or Black Counter.

Reminder
When the cost-base upper limit settings are enabled, the users who
reached the upper limit can spool print jobs on the My Print Manager
server.
