You can register a picture that will be displayed
on the monitor and sound that will be played
when turning the camera on or off. (P.157) You
can also adjust the volume of the sound. (P.156)
If the card is not recognized (card check)
When the power is turned on, the camera checks the card automatically. If
there is no card in the camera or a card that is not supported by this camera
is inserted, the following screen is displayed.
• All data stored on the card is erased when the card is formatted.

There is no card in the camera or the card is not
inserted properly.
→ → → → Insert a card. If a card is already inserted,
remove it and insert it again correctly.
The card cannot record, play back or erase
pictures. Format the card or replace it with a new
one.
→ → → → Press ac to select POWER OFF, then press
e. Replace the card with a new one.
→ → → → Format the card.
Press ac to select I FORMAT, then press
e to display the confirmation screen. Select
YES and press e.
Formatting starts. If the card was successfully
formatted, the camera is ready to take pictures.
