Erasing pictures
This function erases recorded pictures. Pictures can be erased either one
at a time or all the pictures in the internal memory or on the card.
Top menu
[MODE MENU]
[ERASE]
[ERASE] / [ALL ERASE]

Select [YES], and press
i.
• When [ERASE] is selected, the selected
picture is erased. When [ALL ERASE] is
selected, all the pictures are erased.
Note
• You cannot erase protected pictures. Cancel protection before erasing such
pictures.
• Once erased, pictures cannot be restored. Check each picture before erasing
to avoid accidentally erasing pictures you want to keep.
TIPS
• You can also use the
S button to erase pictures. g“Direct buttons” (P. 12)
• In calendar display mode, [ALL ERASE] erases all the pictures associated with
the selected day, month, or year.
Note
• Pictures saved in an album cannot be erased with [ALL ERASE]. They need to
be erased with [ERASE].
