Recording sound (VOICE REC)

You can use this digital camera to record not only still pictures and movies,
but also sound. Recorded sound is saved as a WAV file, which is displayed
in single-frame or index format in the same manner as still pictures and
movies.

Aim the camera microphone

toward the sound that you want

to record.

Press the shutter button fully.

• The self-timer/card access lamp blinks

and sound recording starts.

• The bar displayed during sound

recording indicates the following:

Bar length : The internal memory or

card capacity

White part : Used memory space
Yellow part : Memory space currently

in use

Gray part : Remaining memory

space

Press the shutter button again.

• Sound recording stops.

To take a picture, press the MENU button, display the voice

recording top menu, and select [VOICE REC. END].
