Point the remote control at the remote
control receiver on the camera and
press the shutter button on the remote
control.

● When is selected: The focus and exposure

are locked, the remote control lamp lights up
and the picture is taken.

is selected: The focus and exposure

are locked, the remote control lamp lights up
and the picture is taken after approximately 2
seconds.

TIPS

The remote control lamp does not blink after the shutter button on the remote control is
pressed.

T The transmitted signal may not be effective if the remote control receiver is exposed to

powerful lighting. Move the remote control closer to the camera and press the shutter button
on the remote control again.

T The transmitted signal may not be effective if the remote control is too far from the camera.

Move the remote control closer to the camera and press the shutter button on the remote
control again.

T There is signal interference. Change the channel as described in the remote control's

instruction manual.

To cancel the remote control shooting mode:

T The remote control shooting mode will not be canceled after shooting. Follow step 2 to

Transmitted signal effective area

Point the remote control at the remote control receiver of the camera within the effective area as
shown below.
Powerful lighting such as direct sunlight, fluorescent light or devices emitting electrical or radio
waves could narrow the effective area.
