Physical Drive
To view the Physical Drive Properties, Fail Drive and Error Sta-
tus, click on the blue button in the upper middle frame next to
physical drive you would like to view. The icon looks like the one
pictured below.
After you click on it, the Physical Drive ID will display in the right
frame. The link to the RAID controller Properties, Fail Drive and
Error Status page will be listed as shown below. Click on the
word “Properties” to view the Physical Drive Properties. Click on
the “Fail Drive” to fail the drive. Click on the “Error Status” to
view the Physical Drives Error Status.
Physical Drive Fail
After clicking on the “Fail Drive”, the drive is failed. And
“degraded” is displayed side of “Array 0”.
This function is supported only in RAID1(Mirror) array.
