This feature allows you to set channels that will be skipped when

Select the channel you want to skip in your channel
list.

From the Quick Menu, press

to select Channel

Options and press OK.

repeatedly to highlight the skip (

) box.

Press OK to select. A tick will appear in the box.

Repeat steps 1 through 4 for other channels.

Press EXIT.

NOTE: Skipped channels cannot be selected by P

but still be accessed by direct number entry

(when tuned a

banner to indicate as a skipped channel).

Locking Channels stops the viewing of digital channels, and

they can only be accessed by entering the PIN.

Select the channel you want to lock in your channel
list.

From the Quick Menu, press

to select Channel

Options and press OK.

Press

repeatedly to highlight the lock (

) box.

Press OK to select. A tick will appear in the box.

If a PIN has already been set, PIN entry will be required
to set the locked channels.

Repeat steps 1 through 4 for other channels.

Press EXIT.

From this point on, when any of the channels in the
Locked Channel list are selected, the PIN must be
entered before they can be accessed.

Digital settings – other settings

In digital mode, this feature will show subtitles on the screen in

the selected language provided they are being broadcast.

In the DTV Settings menu, press

Subtitle and Audio and press OK.

to select Subtitle Display and press

to select On or Off.

to select Primary Subtitle Language or

Secondary Subtitle Language and press

select an option.

The SUBTITLE button can be used to select subtitle on or off
for the current channel only and to select the subtitle
language if more than one subtitle is available.

This feature allows a programme or film to be viewed with a
choice of soundtrack language, provided multiple language

tracks are being broadcast.

In the Subtitle and Audio menu, press

select Audio Type and press

to select Normal

or For Hard of Hearing.

to select Primary Audio Language or
