Configuring PCs in Windows 2000
1.
Go to Start / Settings / Control Panel. In the Control Panel,
double-click Network and Dial-up Connections.

Double-click Local Area (“LAN”) Connection. (See Figure
3.5)

In the LAN Area Connection Status window, click
Properties
. (See Figure 3.6)
4.
Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties.

Select the Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain
DNS server address automatically
radio buttons. (See
Figure 3.8)
6.
Click OK to finish the configuration.
