3.4 Electronic TV Guide (EPG)
Electronic TV Guide is for Digital
broadcasts only. The Electronic TV Guide
gives general information about all of
the programmes of the next 8 days. To
display the Electronic TV Guide, press
EPG button on the remote control and
EPG will be displayed.
Important Note: Not all broadcasting
enterprises supply a detailed TV guide.
Most of the broadcasting enterprises
provide daily programme information, but
they do not give detailed explanations.
Some broadcasting enterprises, on the
other hand, do not give any programme
information at all.
1. You can use the RED button on your
remote control to switch between TV and
Radio channels in the EPG menu.
2. In All Channels menu, press PR-/PR+
or Up/Down navigation buttons to select
the channel you would like to view and
press Right navigation button to move to
the programme list section.
3. Scroll down the programme list by
pressing the Up/Down navigation
buttons. To get further information about
the programme press Info button and
detailed information about the selected
programme will be displayed.
4. Press the GREEN button on your
remote control to display the programme
information of the next day and press
RED button to display the programme information of the
previous day.
5. You may add a Reminder for any programme that
you would like to view. To do this, select the channel /
programme you want to add a reminder from the EPG
menu with the navigation buttons and press the BLUE
button on your remote control. At the right hand side of
the programme a BLUE symbol will be displayed which
indicates that the reminder is added to
the programme.
When the time of the relevant programme
comes, a warning screen appears.
It counts down for 30 seconds. During
the countdown you may switch to
channel in which the programme has
started by selecting the YES option with
Right/Left buttons or cancel this action
by selecting the NO option. If you do not
perform any operation until end of the
period, the TV will automatically switch to the channel that you set the reminder for.
