Removing the filter
q Switch appliance to "Standby".
q Unscrew the filter with the screwĆin aid in an antiĆ
clockwise direction.
q Simultaneously hold down the + button 8
and 4button 9 for at least 3 sec.
q Select the desired water hardness by pressing the
4button 9 (e.g. d button illuminates, denotes
water hardness 1).
q Acknowledge by pressing the 2 button 5.
ReĆorder the filter under mat. no.: 461732.
Important
q After approx. 13.2 gallons ( j is displayed) or
after 2 months at the latest the filter is exhausted
and must be replaced.
q Do not insert the filter if the k message lights up.
First descale the appliance.
q Before descaling the appliance, take the filter out
of the water tank.
q When the filter has been inserted, it must be
rinsed. To do this, comply with the following
points.
q If the appliance is always operated with an inserted
filter, it should be descaled once or twice a year,
even if the descale message is not displayed.
q If softened water from a domestic descaling unit is
used, a filter should not be inserted.
