Traffi c information

Your device is equipped with an RDS-EON
receiver. EON stands for

Enhanced Other

Network.

Whenever a traffi c announcement (TA) is
broadcast, the system switches automati-
cally from a station that does not provide
traffi c reports to the appropriate traffi c in-
formation station within the broadcasting
network that does.

Once the traffi c report has been played, the
system will switch back to the programme
that you were listening to before.

DAB-FM traffi c information
source

If traffi c information priority is activated,
the device automatically switches to an in-
coming traffi c announcement being broad-
cast via DAB within a DAB broadcasting
network (in DAB mode) or via FM (in radio
mode, see RDS-EON). In AUX, SD/MMC,
CD/MP3 and CD-changer mode, you will
hear traffi c announcements played from
the source that was active last (either DAB
or radio).
