Notes on adjusting the settings
We recommend you use a CD that you are
familiar with for making changes to the set-
tings.
Before adjusting the equalizer, set the sound
and volume distribution settings to zero and
deactivate X-BASS. For further information,
please read the “Sound” chapter.
Listen to the CD.
What kind of impression does the
sound make?
Now read the “Sound impression” col-
umn in the table entitled “Help adjust-
ing the equalizer”.
Set the equalizer values as described in
the “Measures” column.

Making adjustments

The top line displays the GAIN and the qual-
ity factor “Q”. The gain setting fl ashes. You
can use the quality factor to adjust the width
of the fi lter. The higher you set the value for
the quality factor the more directly the fi lter
will be applied to the selected frequency.
