Installing a PCI Expansion Card

Remove the screw that holds the port access cover in place, pull out the access cover, and set
it aside.

If you want to replace or remove a card that’s installed in the computer, remove the screw
that holds the card in place and pull the card from the slot.

Important

Before installing a PCI expansion card, read “About PCI Expansion Cards” on

page 30 and follow the steps in “Opening the Computer” on page 32.
