The settings in the Wrap Inspector affect fixed objects and inline objects differently.
To adjust text wrapping around a fixed object:
1 Select the object.
2 Select the checkbox labeled “Object causes wrap” in the Wrap Inspector.
3 Click a button in the Wrap Inspector to select which side of the object you want the
text to wrap around.

Select to place an object
inline with text or fixed

Select to make text wrap
around the object using
the buttons below.
Set how much space to
leave between the object
and the surrounding text.
Click to make the text
wrap tightly or loosely
around the object.
Set the transparency
percentage at which text can
be seen through the object.
