4 When you see a message that the software was restored successfully, click the Restart
button while you press the Open/Close button on the CD-ROM tray.
While the computer restarts, continue to press the Open/Close button on the
CD-ROM tray until it opens and you can remove the CD-ROM disc.
If the tray doesn’t open, try again: choose Restart from the Special menu and
immediately press the Open/Close button until the tray opens.
In a few moments, the normal Macintosh desktop with the Launcher appears
on your screen. You have successfully restored all your original software on
your hard disk.
5 If other CD-ROM discs came with your computer, start up from each of them while
holding down the C key.
This will restore other software not included on the Macintosh Restore CD.
Make sure to follow the installation instructions in any Read Me files that
appear when you open the CD-ROM disc icon.
